Conduits for Electrical Installations - Rigid Plain Conduits of Insulating Materials IS 9537 (Part 3)

GET BIS CERTIFICATION FOR CONDUITS FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS - RIGID PLAIN CONDUITS OF INSULATING MATERIALS IS 9537 (Part 3) : 1983

Rigid conduit has a thick wall and is constructed of either aluminum or galvanized steel. This is one of the most heavy-duty types of conduit used in many industrial applications. Rigid conduit offers additional strength.

BIS is a statutory institution established under the Bureau of Indian Standards Act,1986  to promote harmonious development of the activities of standardization, marking and quality certification of goods and attending to connected matters in the country.

Conduits for electrical installations - Rigid plain conduits of insulating materials product has been specified in IS 9537 (Part 3) : 1983by Bureau of Indian Standards.

SCOPE :

This standard (Part 3) specifies requirements and methods of tests for circular rigid non-flame propagating and non- threadable plain conduits of insulating materials.
