GET BIS CERTIFICATION FOR CORRUGATED BITUMEN ROOFING SHEETS IS 12583:1988

 

Corrugated Bitumen Sheets are ideal for use in agricultural buildings, sheds, animal housing and industrial roofing applications. The sheets provide an excellent dimensional stability and in time develop a full intense colouring through the natural oxidation of the bitumen.

 

BIS is a statutory institution established under the Bureau of Indian Standards Act,1986  to promote harmonious development of the activities of standardization, marking and quality certification of goods and attending to connected matters in the country.

Corrugated bitumen roofing sheets product has been specified in IS 12583:1988 by Bureau of Indian Standards.

SCOPE :

This standard specifies the requirements of corrugated bitumen roofing sheets used as light roofing material.
