BIS Certification For Stainless Steel Tower Bolts IS 15833

Tower Bolt is a rod-shaped bolt for fastening a door or the like, attached to one side of the door at the edge and sliding into a cylindrical casing on the frame of the opening. These may be ferrous or non-ferrous. It is also known as barrel bolt.

Stainless steel is a corrosion-resistant alloy of iron, chromium and, in some cases, nickel and other metals. The stainless steel alloy material stands out with its incredible tensile strength of approximately 621 MPA or 90 KSI. Grade 304 also has a higher operating temperature of up to 870 °C. It is extremely tough and highly durable material with high impact resistance. Part of the reason for this is that stainless steel has low susceptibility to brittleness at high and low temperatures.
