INDUCTION STOVE IS 302 (PART 2): SECTION 6: 2009

An Induction stove is a type of cooking device that cooks food using induction heating. Induction cooking works by creating a magnetic field that generates an electric current in the cookware's base, which warms the contents of the pot or pan. Induction stoves provide several advantages over standard gas or electric stoves, such as quicker cooking times, higher energy economy, and more accuracy and control over cooking temperatures. They also provide increased safety because the stove's surface remains cold to the touch, lowering the chance of burns or flames.

It’s in variables size and number burners, the wattage and power of the appliance, and the kind and quality of the materials used in its construction. It is also crucial to evaluate the appearance and aesthetics of the stove, as well as any other features or functions, such as built-in timers or safety measures, that may be offered.

Furthermore, it is to ensure that the induction stove is installed and maintained correctly according to the manufacturer's instructions, and that appropriate cookware is used to guarantee safe and effective functioning.  We should also check that the stove is adequately rated for the intended purpose, as well as that it complies with all applicable safety and regulatory regulations.

In July 2013, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) added several products under the Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS). Induction Stove was one of them. Under Scheme II of Schedule II, Induction Stove gets BIS registered and assures that the product is of good quality and safe.
