1.   Introduction to Indian Standard IS 453; Double Acting Spring Hinges

e)   Brass Rods - Minimum Cu content 60 % and Tensile Strength 40Kgf/Cm2, conforming to IS 319

f)    Steel Wire of Spring – IS 4454 Part 1

g)   Phosphorus Bronze Wire – Grade 1 of IS 7608

 

·       IS 453 specifies the quality parameters or characteristics of the Double Acting Spring Hinges  as follows
